The Applied Research and Innovation Centre (ARIC) is an applied research, learning and innovation hub. It is home to the passionate faculty and staff working across Selkirk Innovates’ research focus areas, the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) programs, and advanced technology training programs. Since opening in 2016, ARIC provides a unique space that allows our research faculty to work closely together, effectively engage students and support the applied research and innovation needs of our community partners across the region. It has allowed our team to support research and innovation in unique ways and provide a meeting place for innovative minds.
