Kokanee Mountain Zipline Tours, Kokanee Glacier Rd, Nelson, BC V1L 5R2 (30 minutes outside of Nelson, so please keep this in mind!)
Pre-registration required before end of day, Wednesday, September 14th. Please come into the Castlegar or Nelson Gym to pay and complete two waivers- one for Selkirk College and one for the Kokanee Mountain Zipline company. The Kokanee Mountain Zipline waiver can be completed online here.
Open to students of Selkirk College only. Must find own transportation to event. Limited number of spaces available.
Cost to students is significantly discounted at $25/student including tax, so take advantage of this great deal!
Masks are optional.
In order to zipline you must be wearing closed-toed shoes, so no flip flops or sandals!
Be sure to bring weather-appropriate clothing (dry and waterproof for that September weather!).
All participants must weigh between 50 - 265 lbs.
If you have completed your online waiver for the Ziplining company, please arrive 15 minutes before your tour time.
If you haven't done the waiver, please arrive 20-25 minutes before your tour time.
Directions to Kokanee Mountain Zipline
Kokanee Mountain Zipline is located in between Nelson and Ainsworth Hot Springs!
From Hwy 3A turn north on Kokanee Glacier Park Rd, which is located between Kokanee Marina and the Kokanee Creek Provincial Park Entrance. Then drive 2.2 km up the gravel road (kokanee Glacier Park Road) until you see the blue gate. Turn left at the gate and park at the top of the hill in the parking lot.
