Emily Kandborg brings hands on experience to her position at Selkirk College in the International department.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Studies from the University of British Columbia, she coordinates International Projects, recruits from various countries throughout South East Asia and Europe, and coordinates Student Engagement Activities.

Emily has had the opportunity to work in a variety of international settings as an ESL instructor and Settlement Worker with the Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy, and has enjoyed working with students integrating into Canadian culture and supporting the interns who are adjusting to life abroad in their settings. Emily works collaboratively with her department to support student mobility initiatives and creates new international partnerships and opportunities.
