Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is Jump Start mandatory for Selkirk College students?
No, you don't need to attend Jump Start. This is just a way for us to help you get ready for Selkirk College and to answer any of your questions.
2. Can I still apply to Selkirk College?
If you still want to apply, we have seats available for certain programs. Ask us about this!!
3. Do I need to register for Jump Start?
We recommend registering to better assist you, but it's not mandatory but it helps if you have specific question that may require a few further inqiries.
3. What do I do to participate in Jump Start?
You can pop in and out of sessions on August 6 from 11-1 pm to find your answers to your questions. Stop by the Welcome Booth if you don't know where to start or go next. We can help direct you!
4. What if I cannot attend Jump Start?
If you are unable to attend Jump Start, attend our orientation event Get Connected online or in person on Sept 8 and Sept 9. Your program may also have an orienation day. Expect to receive an email with details in late August.
5. I have questions now that can't wait. Who can I contact?
