Canada Apprentice Loans

The Government of Canada is committed to supporting registered apprentices throughout their training. The Canada Apprentice program has loans and grants that can help you get the money you need to achieve your goals. Eligible apprenticeship programs offered at Selkirk College: Carpentry, Electrical, Hairstylist, and Welding.

WorkBC Apprenticeship Services

Apprentice financial supports are available to eligible apprentices while they’re completing their classroom apprenticeship training. Supports may include: Employment Insurance Benefits, living supports, child care, commuting/relocation costs, and more. See if you’re eligible by accessing the WorkBC Apprenticeship Services site.
