Develop understanding of the roots and definitions of sexualized violence and what is (and is not) consent.
This training explores different understandings of consent, including the legal definition. Learners have the opportunity to develop skills related to asking for and giving consent in all relationships as well as discuss strategies for creating a “culture of consent” in campus communities.
Registration must be received the Monday prior to the workshop by 4 pm. Zoom links will be sent to those registered by the deadline.
Workshop Series
Join Selkirk College, College of the Rockies and North Island College presenters to learn more about sexual violence and mental health topics to support your fellow students (and yourself!). Certificates of completion will be provided after each workshop. Complete all five and be put in a draw for a great prize at the end of the year!
