We offer flexible and meaningful support to prospective and current students who have past or current care experience through the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development (MFCD) or the Indigenous Child and Family Service Agency (ICFSA).
We are here to answer your questions about eligibility, access, funding and supports.
Where to Start
- Connect with the campus navigator and/or review the available funding opportunities.
Meet the campus navigator (on campus, by phone or in the community) to review the Provincial Tuition Waiver Program (PTWP) eligibility criteria for free tuition. If you are eligible, the campus navigator will submit completed application forms to Financial Aid, which will send them to the PTWP.
Find out if you receive the tuition waiver.
If your application is accepted, you, Financial Aid and the campus navigator will be notified, and your tuition will be paid for. The campus navigator will bridge you to other financial options and supports at Selkirk College.
If you are not eligible, the campus navigator can support an appeal, if required, or bridge you to other financial options and supports at Selkirk College.
