Join Us for an All-Ages Fundraiser!
Help Nursing Program students fundraise for community health nursing that will take place in Guatemala this year. Join us for an evening of great food and company as we celebrate the return of the Selkirk College International Community Health Nursing Program in Guatemala!

- 6 pm: dinner begins
Once abroad, students will explore the impact and influence of health inequities on specific populations in Guatemala with a social justice lens. Working directly with community members and organizations, students will also explore concepts such as empowerment, capacity building, resilience and equity as they relate to health. Nursing students will engage members of the community and offer teaching and learning activities which focus on diabetes education, sexual health and more.
The larger initiative goal is to engage in relationship building, sharing of knowledge and experiences, as well as learn from each other.
