This is a fun tournament (unsanctioned) - Round Robin format.
You will play a lot of games with different partners. What a great way to meet new players and practice your game!
All pickleball players over the age of 16 are welcome. You should know the pickleball rules and have previously played. When registration is complete, players will be placed in one of two groups based on their skill level. There will be a maximum of 28 players in total (16 recreational players and 12 advanced recreational). Each player in a group will play at least 5 matches.
Please bring your own pickleball paddles and wear clean indoor shoes for playing. Safety glasses are strongly recommended. Spectators are welcome to come and cheer on their favorite players. Bring your water bottles.
Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the round robins based on the points won.
There will be a maximum of 28 players and entries will be accepted on a first come basis, so the event may fill up quickly. A waiting list will be created once our limit of players is reached.
Check-in starts at 9:30 am, the day of the tournament (Saturday, June 7). Matches begin at 10 am and end by about 12 pm. A pizza lunch is planned for 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm.
Cost and Registration
$15.00/person – payable to Selkirk College includes a pizza lunch.
The final registration deadline is Thursday, June 5. Players must sign up and pay before the deadline. Registration, the signing of the liability waiver form, and payment will be made electronically. . Alternatively, waiver forms can be signed at check-in on the day of the tournament rather than at the time of registration. Cancellation Policy – There will be no refunds unless players cancel 48hrs before the tournament.
