The growth in international education across British Columbia since the mid-1980s has provided a boon to learners at Selkirk College. In early-June, one of the first students to attend Selkirk College as part of an international cohort returned for a visit to reconnect with some of the people who helped make his stay in Castlegar memorable.

Selkirk College provides a lot of activities for the international students. For example, there is a kayaking trip, a trip to the Pass Creek Fall Fair, a Halloween party, and a hike. These activities give me some ideas of Canadian life and culture.
