StudentAid BC Launching New Application System

StudentAid BC is launching a new application system, the Student Information Management System (SIMS), on June 23, 2026. This new platform will replace the current Student Dashboard.

Application Timelines

  • Until the deadline on June 19, 2026, at 3 pm, you’ll still apply for funding for programs starting in the 2025/26 academic year (August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026) through the Student Dashboard.
  • Anything submitted before the deadline will continue to be processed normally.
  • If you start an application but don’t submit it by the deadline, it will get cancelled. You’ll have to redo it in SIMS.
  • All StudentAid BC application systems will be unavailable from June 19 at 3 pm to June 23.
  • Starting June 23, you’ll use SIMS for all new applications for programs starting 2025/26 (August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026) and 2026/27 (August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027).

If you submitted a complete application before June 19, you can still log in to the old Dashboard to track it.

Get Prepared

You’ll need a BC Services Card account (digital ID) to use SIMS. If you don’t have one yet, you can set it up for free.
