BSc., BSN, CCN(c)
Instructor, Bachelor of Science in Nursing
I started teaching at Selkirk College in the Fall of 2015. I've been enjoying sharing my enthusiasm for nursing with my students and have been amazed by the supportive and passionate staff at Selkirk!
My journey in the post-secondary education system started with a degree in Biology at UVIC. After working with fish for a short while I realized how much I missed humans, and I went back to school to do my BSc in Nursing at UBC in 2010. I have now been nursing for six years in acute care, most recently in ICU/ER at KBRH. Since graduating I have completed a specialty nursing certificate in Emergency and Critical Care from BCIT.
Outside of work, I love to get out into the mountains on my bike or skis!
