Marita Harinen is a graduate of biological engineering at the University of Guelph. She is passionate about teaching and has more than 10 years of experience. She teaches math, physics, biology and English.
Marita used to be a Student & Campus Life Programmer within the Athletics & Recreation. She is a certified personal trainer, yoga/fitness instructor and holistic nutritionist. Plus, she has a yoga series on Rogers TV!
Marita's favourite part about working at Selkirk College is being surrounded by people who have an interest in education! She is inspired by those who enjoy learning!
