I've always loved science and math, and after getting to do my own research project in an ecology class, I was sold!

My first job in biology was working in a microbiology lab...mostly washing test tubes, but also learning a lot! Since then, I've studied knapweed, frogs and toads, insects, bacteria, and bacteria that live inside insects. After finishing my master's, I moved to Nelson to work in a wildlife genetics lab, where I analyzed DNA from bears, wolverine, wolves and fisher, among others. 

I'm truly honoured to be working at Selkirk College and hope I can show others how cool science and math can be!
