As the war between Israel and Palestinians in Gaza continues to intensify, we feel profound sadness and fear for both loved ones and those we don’t know in the region. This gathering will be a forum for sharing feelings, thoughts and hopes for a peace that provides both security and justice for all.
This gathering will be a structured and facilitated event in which we honour all who are suffering and share ideas about what it means to work for peace in a time of war. Because of the close relationship between nationalism and militarism, we request that flags be kept at home.
