Amanda graduated from the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program in 2021. Her nursing career has primarily focused on mental health. Her background includes nursing in geriatric psychiatry, expanding to acute inpatient psychiatry and psychiatric emergency services on Vancouver Island. In the West Kootenay, she gained experience working in opioid antagonist treatment.
In her spare time, Amanda trains on a power lifting team based in Victoria and is a volunteer firefighter.
