Malorie Moore is a registered social worker and certified career development practitioner with over 15 years of experience working in the field of mental health, substance use and career counselling. Her approach draws heavily from dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and anti-oppressive frameworks. She is passionate about working with students and supporting people to navigate periods of change.
Malorie graduated with a master's in social work from McGill University in 2012. Since then, she has worked in many different environments, including substance use in inpatient and outpatient recovery centres, homeless shelters and non-profit employment counselling programs. When she is not working, Malorie enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, skiing, cycling and rock climbing. She also loves curling up on the couch with a good book or knitting project.
