Steps to Success aims to address the pressing need for skilled health professionals in rural areas. Your donation will:
- Support future health care heroes. Our new Steps to Success awards are designed to support students aspiring to become doctors, dentists, optometrists, veterinarians, midwives, pharmacists and public health professionals—key figures who will bring crucial care to our rural communities.
- Bring professionals back. For the past ten years, the Rural Pre-Medicine (RPM) Program has demonstrated that when rural students receive training locally and are supported by their community, they are more likely to return to practice and build their chosen careers.
