Forgotten Métis Exhibit

Explore the Exhibit and Participate in Project of the Heart 

The Forgotten Métis exhibit documents and gives voice to the experiences of the many Métis children forced to attend residential schools. It explores the unique and often overlooked Métis experience within the residential school system, including themes of identity erasure, reclamation and healing.  

Visitors can also participate in Project of the Heart. This hands-on activity invites reflection through the creation of commemorative art tiles.

Facilitated Engagement for Students and Employees

Students and employees are invited to participate in an engagement session with a dedicated facilitator who can help deepen learning.
