Tasha Kanigan graduated from the Selkirk College Nursing Program in 2012. Since then she has worked throughout the Interior region of BC in a variety of nursing roles from direct care, education and leadership. Throughout her nursing career she has continued to provide and advocate for compassionate, person-centred care across the health span.
With a keen interest in bridging information with nursing, Tasha completed her Master's of Science in Health Informatics in 2026 with a focus on usability and health literacy.
Tasha taught in the Gerontology Program in 2020 and returned to Selkirk College as an instructor within the BSN program in 2025.
