Join us for a Plant & Tea Party in the Spirit Garden and be part of our ongoing restoration efforts. Help welcome new native plant foods and medicines to the space while taking part in seasonal stewardship activities.
Learn from experienced Indigenous harvesters as they share stories, cultural protocols, and teachings about responsible harvesting, plant identification, Indigenous food sovereignty, sustainability, and traditional tea-making. Participants will also explore Indigenous plant names and discuss the impacts of climate change on traditional foods.
Lunch, drinks, and traditional food tastings will be provided. Sponsored by I-SPARC.
