Ever wonder what your instructors get up to in the summer? Come learn about a recent Selkirk College faculty trip into Southern Africa and the heart of the Okavango Delta. As one of the world’s largest wetlands, this region hosts massive amounts of wildlife and one of the largest concentrations of elephants on the planet. It is also one of the few places where early humans first appeared and has likely been continuously inhabited for at least 100,000 years – leading to the complex social, cultural, and ecological environment that we find there today.

Everyone welcome! Light refreshments will be served.
