"I see my role as an instructor as being a partnership between my passion for education, my love of science, and my desire to help in the creation of healthy vibrant communities." —Christine Carlson
Christine completed her master's degree in marine lichen physiological ecology on the rocky shores of Oregon. It was during her master's that she found her love of teaching. From there she taught science in the parks, forests and rivers of Manhattan before moving to BC to start a family.
Since moving to Grand Forks, Christine has been working with families in a social services organization and teaching science summer camps. She is extremely excited to have landed at Selkirk College in the School of Academic Upgrading & Development.
