Lena was born and raised in the Kootenays, and living away taught her that there is no better place to be. She was thrilled to work at Selkirk College. "I am a Selkirk College alum and know how special the college experience can be," she says. "I am happy to be a part of an organization that provides so many positive experiences for the people who live here."
Lena loves teaching and is always moving forward with new ideas and teaching strategies. But the best part of the classroom experience is the students. “It’s a community of learners in every respect."
