R.Ph., BScPharm
Program Coordinator/Instructor, Pharmacy Technician Program
I joined Selkirk College in January 2015 as a Pharmacology Instructor in the National Pharmacy Technician Program. Later that year, I began teaching Pharmacology in the Pharmacy Technician program as well. I graduated from Dalhousie University in 2005 with a BSc in Pharmacy and have been working in practice since then.
I am a community pharmacist with years of experience in a variety of pharmacy settings: from grocery store chains and big box stores, to small independently owned specialty pharmacies. As a pharmacist, I know the importance of highly skilled, trained pharmacy assistants and technicians. I have worked with many incredible assistants and technicians over the years and could not do my job without them!
I love the energy and enthusiasm the students bring to the table! I am proud to be part of a team of instructors that is passionate about helping these students reach their goal of becoming regulated pharmacy technicians.
I love to spend time with my husband and two busy young children. We enjoy traveling, camping, skiing and exploring the great outdoors!
