Instructor, Applied Environmental Science and Planning
Peter Golden is a professional environmental engineer and instructor in the Applied Environmental Science and Planning Program.
After graduating from engineering at the University of Calgary, Peter worked in air pollution control and filtration. He has always been interested in the questions of "What does contamination mean to the environment and human health?" and had a desire to make a positive, lasting difference in his community. This led him to pursue a career in pollution control, environment management and environmental quality monitoring.
Peter is thrilled to be teaching at Selkirk College's School of Environment & Geomatics. He enjoys the energy and enthusiasm of the students and is excited to help inspire them to make a positive impact on society and the environment in their communities.
