Stacey grew up on a small farm in the Village of Fruitvale. She moved away from the area several times, but returned with her husband in 1998 to raise their family.
After working as a reliability systems coordinator at Teck, Stacey embarked on her new career at Selkirk College in 2007 as an on-call employee while continuing her studies in College & University Management and Human Resources. Stacey was promoted to the role of Manager of Human Resources in 2020. In that same year, Stacey was awarded a NISOD Excellence Award in recognition of her contributions made to the College.
Stacey has a passion for service excellence and is known for her skill in labour relations, collective agreement interpretation, contract negotiations, team building and leadership. She has a proven track record of maximizing team performance and delivering results.
