There are currently four employee groups at Selkirk College. All employees are covered by either a collective agreement (Faculty and Support Staff) or set Terms of Employment (Exempt or non-union temporary employment contracts).
Selkirk College Faculty Association (SCFA)
The Selkirk College Faculty Association is a bargaining unit representing instructional faculty and faculty assistants in Aviation, Business, Digital Media, Health Services, Kootenay Studio Arts, Music, Renewable Resources, and University Arts & Sciences, as well as librarians and counselors. BC Government Employees Union (BCGEU)

Public and Private Workers of Canada (PPWC)
The Public and Private Workers of Canada is a bargaining unit representing support staff at the College. Members are in the areas of Food Service, IT Services, Student Services, Health and Safety, Maintenance and Building Service Workers and Campus support across the campuses.
