Discover how to build and decorate an effective, efficient and low-cost DIY air cleaner to take home. It will help clean your indoor air of smoke from fires, allergens, and viruses. Cost of supplies is $80 (to ensure cost is not a barrier, subsidies are available; please email @email). Please bring a cheque to class or be ready to make an e-transfer. All materials are included: a box fan, a filter, and the tools for assembly. This workshop will be led by 3-4 volunteers from Doctors and Nurses for Planetary Health - Kootenay Boundary and the West Kootenay Climate Hub. All have learned to instruct and guide participants in making the air cleaners.
