Jeremy Luth’s Showcase Genre: Instrumental/Ambient and Indie/Folk

Jeremy’s Showcase will start with a showing of a variety of filmscores that he composed in filmscoring I and II, as well as an original track produced and composed for Advanced MIDI II and Composition II. The second half of his show will be played live with his band including four original compositions, some from his upcoming album and some from Composition class. Come listen and be immersed in ambient music resembling nature’s beauty!

Jeremy Luth is a composer and bassist from Salmon Arm, BC Canada. He has been writing, recording and producing his own tracks since 2021 and has released music across streaming platforms under the name “Leremy Juice”. He is inspired by his love for nature as well as other composers such as C418, Jeremy Soule, and Aaron Cherof. Jeremy is planning to release his second album summer 2026 which focuses on creating spacious instrumental tracks inspired by nature, outdoor adventures, and ambient recordings of his surroundings. He aspires to score films and/or create soundtracks.

Gianna Stoltz is a composer, songwriter, and cellist. She grew up in the Kootenays and after studying cello for ten years decided to further her studies and take music at Selkirk College. Gianna’s showcase will consist of a variety of different genres of songs she’s written throughout her years in Selkirk including string pieces, lyrical, minimalism, and funk.

Patrick Lehocky is a multi-instrumentalist, specializing in electric bass and guitar. He is musically drawn to the alternative rock sound of the 90s and early 2000s and also has an appreciation for music that experiments with odd time signatures.

Originally from Gold Coast Australia, Patrick moved to Kimberley BC at age 12 and is now living in Nelson studying as a Performance Major at Selkirk College’s Contemporary Music and Technology program. Aside from playing his guitars, Patrick also takes pride in crafting his instruments, with his bass being built out of red cedar wood from his Nana’s farm and his guitar out of the floorboards from his old Australian beach house from the exact spot he was born.

Alizay Anna is a singer-songwriter from rural Saskatchewan, where she was raised on a cattle ranch alongside her parents and three siblings. She developed a deep love for music at an early age— starting voice lessons at just 5 years old, singing in competitions and performing in musicals throughout her childhood. Alizay’s music falls at the intersection of singer-songwriter, pop, folk, alternative, and country. It is rooted in emotional honesty, storytelling, and the desire to connect.

Alizay’s showcase will be a fun mix of Pop, Folk, and Country featuring some of her favourite artists, and biggest inspirations. It will range from fun upbeat songs to emotional, heartfelt ones, some being more stripped back and acoustic and others big and warm.

Slone Leman is a vocalist and songwriter from the small town of Canal Flats, BC. With inspirations spanning from 2000s pop punk to mellow indie-pop, their music brings together compelling melodies, raw and homey textures, and lots of love.

For the past five years, Slone’s been turning their passion for writing evocative lyrics and melodies into a catalogue of songs, the best of which having been polished and prettied up for their showcase. Expect an array of original, acoustic, folksy-pop songs, along with some erratic banter for an intimate and cozy evening on March 27th.

Jonah’s Showcase Genre: Funk/Pop, Psychedelic Rock

Jonah Wingelman has worked to develop a dynamic skill set as a music producer and musician within Vancouver’s creative scene. Introduced to the piano at a young age, keys remain his primary means of artistic expression alongside digitally producing tracks, and composing for others. Proficient in programs such as Pro Tools and FL Studio, Jonah has produced and engineered his own releases, alongside numerous collaborations with other artists.

His production work spans multiple genres including Neo-Soul, Electronic, and Hip Hop, though his personal style often blends elements of Pop and R&B. n addition to studio work, Jonah has performed and participated in community-driven events across Vancouver and Montreal, consistently aiding the growth of inclusive spaces that uplift and support fellow artists. Passionate about both Art itself, and the communities it thrives in, Jonah brings a collaborative approach to every project, and a unique flare to his own personal pieces. In this showcase, Jonah and his talented band will perform a unique blend of carefully chosen tracks, all of which reflect Jonah’s influences and inspirations.
