Jenna Thiessen
Jenna graduated in 2016 from Sheridan College in Ontario as a nurse and worked in a variety of clinical and teaching roles in Toronto and across BC. She has enjoyed working as a hospital coordinator, charge nurse and staff nurse. Some of the areas that Jenna worked in are cardiology, respirology, emergency medicine, LTC, wound care, withdrawal management and event medicine. Jenna enjoyed teaching

Laura Kaplan joined Selkirk College in 2026 and holds a diploma in Business Management. She has experience in event planning, finance and administrative operations, as well as running a small business. She is excited to be a part of the Selkirk team.

Marita Harinen holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biological Engineering from the University of Guelph and a Provincial Instructor Diploma. She is currently completing a Master of Education in Open, Digital and Distance Education through Athabasca University. Throughout his career, Rodrigo has had the opportunity to work alongside students
