Andrea Hall serves as the Executive Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Selkirk College, located in Castlegar, British Columbia. She holds a Master of Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting. Andrea is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
Before joining Selkirk College in 2011 as a finance manager, Andrea gained experience in public practice accounting firms in both Canada and the United States. At Selkirk College, she has led various teams, including finance, payroll, procurement, duplicating, mailroom, and bookstore services. Andrea played a pivotal role in the Project Aurora team, successfully implementing modules for human resources, payroll, finance, procurement, and budgeting systems. Prior to her current position, she was the Manager of Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Systems and served as the interim Director of Finance starting in May 2024.
In her current role as Executive Director of Finance and CFO, Andrea continues to oversee the financial operations of Selkirk College, contributing to its mission of providing quality education and services to its students and community.
Andrea is also an avid skier, runner, and golfer. She enjoys spending her free time with her two children playing games, baking, or going on an adventure!
