As our world and our workplaces become more complex and diverse, managers and leaders need expanding skills. Developed in consultation with many of the largest employers in the West Kootenay/Boundary Region, this modular program will provide individuals with leadership skills and knowledge they can immediately employ in the workplace.
This highly interactive program fosters peer-to-peer learning while still providing flexibility for working professionals. Content is delivered through classroom sessions and our online learning platform. Instructed by Lesley Beatson, PhD.
Delivered over 4 modules that are spread over 6 months, participants will learn from, and share experiences with, a supportive group of like-minded peers from various industries.
Each module has 3 classroom sessions, delivered 1 day per week, over 3 consecutive weeks. There are also several learning activities delivered online during each module.
The modules are sequential and cumulative, with each session building on the previous one. However, each session is also designed as a complete and separate learning experience.
