Selkirk College is pleased to welcome the Bob Brough Quartet.
Bob Brough has been a band leader, composer and performer for over 50 years, his smoky, relaxed tone combined with harmonic adventure. He brings his band mates Adrean Farrugia (piano), Artie Roth (bass) and Terry Clark (drums) all the way out west with a stop at Selkirk College on October 15.
Playing a mix of jazz standards and originals ranging from BeBop to Swing - Modern to Freeform, this Toronto jazz band draws its inspiration from an electic variety of pop, ethnic, classical and blues music.
Brough's CD releases include Time Away, Like a Spring Day and A Decade of Favorites.
- When: October 15, 7:30 p.m. with doors open at 7 p.m.
