Climate change is a real and serious issue. The planet is warming due to human action, and there is an urgent need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Let's raise awareness, inspire behaviour change, and drive political transformation in relation to climate policy!

Participate in events during Climate Change Week from October 15 - 19 to learn more about the issues we face, and what we can do to help.

Monday, October 15: Write for the Climate with the Citizens Climate Lobby. Join us in the Pit during lunch.

Tuesday, October 16: 100% Renewable Kootenays Campaign with the West Kootenay EcoSociety. Join us from 12 to 1 p.m. in Sen220.

Thursday, October 18: Climate Change in the Columbia Basin with speaker Mel Reasoner, Climate Scientist at 11:15 in Sen113. Light refreshments will be provided.
- Friday, October 19: Climate Change: Reframing from Despair to Opportunity with speaker Laura Sacks, Climate Reality Leader in K11 at noon.
