Learn about the seven sacred teachings of the Anishinaabe People: love, respect, bravery, truth, honesty, humility and wisdom.
Join Ann-Marie Smith, Anishinaabe woman and cultural facilitator, on Thursdays to learn about the Seven Sacred teachings of the Anishinaabe People. These teachings encourage you to consider how you "walk" in the world and how you relate to yourself, others and the earth.
Participants will work on a pair of moccasins during the teaching and reflection time.
There is space for 12 participants, with space prioritized for Indigenous students and staff. To sign up, email Lu Ann Dietrich.
The group will meet on Thursdays from 3:30–5:30 in the Student Commons Building on the Silver King Campus.
