I grew up in Rossland BC and graduated from the BSN nursing program here at Selkirk College in 2011. My background has been primarily focused on surgical care with recent education in critical care. I have worked in many other areas of nursing including long term care, general medicine, and clinical education. I have always had a passion for teaching and I love sharing the art of nursing with others. My nursing philosophy is based on kindness, caring, and providing ethical and culturally congruent care. I look forward to keeping these values alive as an educator.
Outside of work you will find me painting, hiking the beautiful trails with my dog, spending time on the lake, and enjoying everything the Kootenay community has to offer.
