Jocelyn has been a stalwart in the Purchasing Department at Selkirk College since January 2009. Originally from England, Jocelyn moved to Canada in 2007 and became a Canadian citizen in 2021. She is a certified Canadian public sector procurement professional, graduating from the PSPP program in 2016 and is a self-confessed geek on the subject. Prior to joining Selkirk College, she worked in private industry in the UK as a materials requirement planner, mostly sourcing chemical raw materials for the printing industry where she was able to use her language capabilities in French and German to liaise with suppliers around Europe.
Jocelyn and her husband, Steve, had the Kootenays at the top of their list when they immigrated to Canada and have never regretted settling here and putting down permanent roots in this spectacularly beautiful area. Outside work, Jocelyn can often be found hitting the trail on her horse, Tali, and volunteering at local equestrian events.
