For the first time in her life she has reached a long-term goal!
Joy first realized her desire to work as the Campus Service Representative three years ago after she interviewed but did not get the job at the Kaslo Learning Centre. Since then, she set out to land this job. In September 2020, she began the necessary courses offered in the Office Administration and Technologies program offered online, and completed them with high honours.
It has been a busy time with two teenaged daughters and husband to take care of, as well as running two businesses and picking up part-time work to help pay the bills. That, along with taking care of her parent's rental suites, Joy has proven to be driven, reliable, intelligent, and organized.
