Join us for a screening of A Bold Peace and a post-movie discussion with Duff Sutherland and Pablo Pastor.
There is an alternative to militarism and endless war. Nearly 70 years ago, Costa Rica took the radical step of abolishing its military and investing instead in health, education and social security for its people. What could our world look like if we all adopted this perspective?

- The in-person screening of this film on campus is open to all. It is available online for staff and students of Selkirk College only as it requires login through the Selkirk College library.
- Popcorn is free!
- The discussion starts at 6 pm. It will feature Duff Sutherland, instructor in Latin American Studies, and Pablo Pastor, instructor in Peace Studies.
