Selkirk College's 1-2 year diploma program and University Arts and Science courses are designed to be transferable to universities across Canada and around the world.
English Language Certificates
Awarded on completion of Fundamental, Intermediate, Advanced or University-College Prep.Certificates: Students can also be awarded Participation Certificates for Short-term studies or partial levels.
Certificates
Awarded for completion of programs generally one year in length and which may also be the first year of a diploma program.
Advanced Diplomas
Are generally one semester or shorter in length and require that the student have 2 or more years of post-secondary education prior to starting this program.
Diplomas: are awarded to students after completing 60 credits of study in a specific field. This is generally 2 years of study.
Associate Degrees
Are formal credentials awarded to students after completion of 20 courses (60 credits) in University Arts & Sciences program.
Bachelor Degrees
Are formal credentials awarded to students who complete a minimum of 120 credits in a specific field of study.
