Become a Red Cross First Aid Instructor. First Aid instructors are in demand everywhere, and the Red Cross Instructor certification is recognized across Canada. This training combines the online and in-classroom components to prepare you for a Supervised Teaching Experience and to obtain your instructor certification. Training includes one day of Standard First Aid Skills Refresher, an 8-hour online module, 2 days of Fundamentals of Instruction, and 2 days of Discipline Specific Training.
Students must bring their own laptops to in-person classes.
Prerequisites:
- A current, valid Standard First Aid certificate
- A successful skills assessment of your First Aid and CPR skills
