Lessons and Summer Camps

Indoor Golf Lessons Join us in winter for our indoor golf lessons with CPGA Professional Denny McArthur in three sessions at the Castlegar Campus Gym. These lessons are for adults only. You will need indoor shoes and golf clubs for these lessons. Design for Mass Timber

This micro-credential provides learners with a foundational competency set in mass timber design and 3D BIM fabrication using Cadwork software, conflict resolution communications, wood species and wood project integration, design for CNC machining and 2D drawing packages and materials lists for project assembly.

Vacuum Technology Fundamentals

This 6-week online course provides a foundational introduction to vacuum systems. It is designed to address a growing need for technicians who can understand and support increasingly sophisticated vacuum-dependent operations.

Mass Timber Fabrication Foundations

Gain a foundational competency in wood science, tools and safety, mass timber fabrication, technical drawings and models, product design, element use, packaging and shipping of a completed timber package, and more.

3D Scanning

This 12-week micro credential provides a practical introduction to 3D scanning technologies, aimed at entry-level to intermediate learners with some prior exposure to CAD, GIS, or 3D printing.

Jenna Thiessen

Jenna graduated in 2016 from Sheridan College in Ontario as a nurse and worked in a variety of clinical and teaching roles in Toronto and across BC. She has enjoyed working as a hospital coordinator, charge nurse and staff nurse. Some of the areas that Jenna worked in are cardiology, respirology, emergency medicine, LTC, wound care, withdrawal management and event medicine. Jenna enjoyed teaching
