Rena is the Chair of the School of Environment & Geomatics and a researcher with Selkirk Innovates. Rena is an ecologist and GIS specialist. She completed her M.Sc. at the University of Alberta, studying fish population dynamics in small boreal lakes. Rena spent several years in the consulting industry locally, working on projects related to hydroelectric impacts and conservation of rare fish
