Taylor Norman is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 10 years of accounting experience working in external audit, government, non-for-profits and private corporations. A part from instructing, he is currently the Controller for the Nelson & District Credit Union.
He has worked directly with numerous non-profit organizations throughout his career and currently sits on the board of the Kootenay Career Development Society as Treasurer.
Originally born in Rossland, BC, Taylor moved to Victoria to attend university. He stayed and worked in Victoria for 12 years before feeling the pull of his Kootenay roots. Skiing, mountain biking, and golfing have always been an integral part of Taylor’s life and wanting to share these activities with his young son ultimately led him back to the Kootenays. Now residing in Nelson, Taylor brings his genuine commitment for community engagement and teaching to the students of Selkirk College.
