To make a gift in person, please visit the Marketing, Communications & Advancement Office – located in Mary Hall, Room 202, Tenth Street Campus, located at the same mailing address as above.

  • Under Tribute Gift, select "This gift is in honour, memory, or support of someone." Select "In Memory" and enter your loved one’s name.

  • Under Designation, select "Selkirk College Foundation General Fund." If you know a specific fund you’d like to give to, please select "Other" and enter the fund name.

Complete the form and click Donate.

Give in honour

When someone goes above and beyond, we should be there to honour and match their aspirations. Creating a new fund or appeal that matches their interests in higher education is a wonderful way to show our thanks and appreciation.

We are here to support and help you create a lasting tribute in honour of that person. Please contact our Advancement team for more information and to discuss your different options to create a tribute in honour of someone special.

Give a gift in kind

If you wish to donate non-cash assets to the Selkirk College Foundation, either during your lifetime or through your estate, we can provide guidance. These donations, called gifts in kind, can include equipment, software, artwork, shares and real estate, as well as a residual interest in real property.

A gift in kind is normally valued at its fair market value. Tax receipts for your donated property or equipment work in the same way as they do for a gift of cash.

Please note: It is the responsibility of the donor to establish the fair market value of the gift. We may be able to assist you by providing guidelines for appraisals.

Employee giving

Every employee can make a difference at Selkirk College. We aim to make employee giving as easy as possible through the following employee giving options.

Set Up a Payroll Donation
Payroll donations are an easy, budget-friendly way to give back to Selkirk College. Each month, as little as $2 can be deducted from your payroll and directed toward a fund that matches your philanthropic passions and interests.

You will receive a consolidated tax receipt after December 31 for your cumulative gifts throughout the year.

Give a One-Time Gift
Some employees prefer to give a larger, one-time gift throughout the year. You can donate online through our donation form or for more information and to discuss your plans please contact the Advancement Team.
