Instructor, Bachelor of Science in Nursing Angelene is an alum of the Selkirk College/UVic BSN program, graduating in 2013. Her background includes nursing within surgical, home care and long-term care settings. She has a master's degree in education with a focus on student transition and currently teaches theory and practice within years 1 and 3 of the BSN program.

Tammy was born and raised in the West Kootenay and went on to complete her bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Victoria before moving overseas to teach English in South Korea. This proved to be a life-altering experience and fuelled her love of travelling, learning and teaching!
