Apply for Transfer Credits
Step 1: Apply to Selkirk College
You may apply online through Apply.EducationPlannerBC. When you first log in, you will create a user ID and password.
Step 2: Complete Request Form
If you've already submitted an official transcript from the institution(s), please be sure to note it on the request.
Otherwise, order a sealed official transcript from the post-secondary institution(s) you attended. Have the institution(s) send the transcript directly to Student Records, or bring it in yourself.
The envelope and seal must be unopened and unbroken.
Application for Transfer Credit
Step 3: Provide Course Details
Transfer credit requests for institutions outside of BC must have detailed course syllabi/outlines provided for all the courses you want to transfer credits from.
There may be times when detailed course syllabi/outlines from BC institutions are required and will be requested. If detailed course syllabi/outlines are written in a language other than English, official translations to English need to be included.
- A syllabus often contains timelines, calendars, outlines, bullet points, tables or infographics that quickly and concisely relay important information.
- A course description is usually written in paragraph form with complete sentences.
If these are not provided in a timely fashion, processing timelines are much longer.
Submit Your Application
Submit your application and any inquiries to Records Services at records@selkirk.ca.
