This course is suitable for all fitness levels. Each class will include a warm-up, light cardio, muscle conditioning and stretching, with options for different fitness levels. Some of the class will be done sitting on chairs.
Students should:
● bring their own water bottles, comfortable clothes and gym shoes.
● consult with their doctors to clarify that it’s safe to participate in a fitness program.
Meet the Instructor
Sheona Duthie brings a lifetime of energy, expertise, and inspiration to every class she leads! A retired fitness professional with years of experience, she has dedicated her career to helping older adults stay active, strong, and confident. Sheona taught for the City of Toronto’s Parks & Recreation department as well as in private settings, always with a focus on making fitness accessible and enjoyable. Her credentials include certifications as a fitness instructor, older adult specialist, DrumFit leader, and yoga training—making her classes as diverse as they are dynamic. With Sheona, movement is more than exercise—it’s a joyful journey to better health!
