How to Use Walking Poles

Participants will learn to how to use their own Nordic walking poles effectively for a good workout. We will use the poles in the gym, so rubber feet are essential. Participants should bring their own Nordic walking poles, water bottles, comfortable clothes and gym shoes.

All participants must leave gear in washrooms or on coat rack outside gymnasium. Any valuables should be left in car or bring a lock for baskets in changerooms. Please wear clean, non-marking shoes in gymnasium.

Meet the Instructor

Sheona is a retired fitness instructor and has taught fitness to older adults for many years. She has used Nordic walking poles for twenty years.
